So many gifts

Jackson had a surprise visit from his Aunt Laura today! We snuck her in. He was excited to see all the goodies she brought him.

This week Aunt Sherry and Aunt Amy brought his super hero blankets and pillow cases. We had to get extra because he wasn’t wanting to give them up to be washed.

Today Jackson Got a blanket from The Kansas City Soccer team. They all signed it and he loves it.

Jennifer Roberts thank you for the elephant he loved it and wore it on his arm and now we have it hung on his bedside.

The Charleston Middle School gifted Macy a basket and it included homemade blankets for the family.  Jacksons is of dinosaurs. In his favorite colors ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™

Jackson also got a gift from Immanuel Lutheran church. A stuffed Rachel, their support dog. He loved it and has had it by his side since.

Not much to update on him.

We are still battling the neck pain and still working out the perfect med combo. After trying multiple combos tonight they have him on a continued drip of the morphine with a pump button if he needs a little extra. Praying this is the one that works. They also put a Lidocaine patch on the back of the neck to help with the pain as well.

He has a good few hours today before the pain really set in. (Those are the times I get a few pictures)  I have said it before it’s the worst feeling in the world, seeing your baby be in so much pain. He continues to do his best to push through.

He is very irritable, grumpy, and at times mean. But, you know what....  he has every right to feel all of those things.  The oncologist said to us yesterday, “Cancer has no rules and cancer pain is very painful.”

He will be getting his second Chemo treatment of the day in about 30 mins.
Chemo day #4 almost over. 6 more days to go this round.

Please continue to pray for pain relief and that the chemo is doing what we need it to for him to be in remission at the end of this treatment. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
