Here we go

A little update as so many of you have been messaging to check on our little guy! It is very much appreciated. I am just having a hard time getting back to everyone individually. So this is the easiest and fastest way I can get the updates out.

Jackson went this morning under sedation for a MRI of his neck and Brain. Followed by the bone marrow biopsy. The biopsy will be able to tell us the type of leukemia Jackson has. Once the doctors know that they will get a treatment plan in place and we start that immediately.

Currently Jackson is feeling okay and is watching his new favorite movie “Space Jam”

His platelets are dropping currently at 54,000 (a average child is at 200,000) they do no want him to drop under 50,000 so he will be getting a transfusion for that any minute. He has also contracted a virus of some sort so we are in complete isolation.

So now we just wait............ praying the results come in quickly and that it is the best version of this evil disease.

Please keep Macy and Colby in your thoughts and prayers as well. This is really tough on them and it is killing me that I am not able to be there to hold them as well. Talk about your heart being torn in half.

Matt and I are trying our best to be strong for our babies and show them just how a family comes together and fights this awful disease. Looking to God for strength and guidance through this entire process.

Again, we can not find the words to express how thankful we are of all the kind words, prayers and everyone stepping up to help us through this nightmare.
